So, today I don’t want to talk about resolutions for the new year. I would rather talk about my never again list. Closing that which is behind and stretching out to that which God has in store for me in the future.

And to do that, we turn to a surprising place—God’s own never-again moment.

o Sometimes “never again” means stop living from an old wound. God’s new thing requires the release

So let me share a few examples—not as commandments, but as invitations.

• I confess Jesus as my Lord (Romans 10:9-10); I possess salvation.

• I confess, “the Son has made me free” John 8:36; I possess absolute freedom. 나는 고백한다. "아들이

• I confess, “He will never leave me nor forsake me” Hebrews 13:5-6; I possess the presence of God each

Before we add anything new to our lives, maybe God is asking us to lay something down.

Our hope for the new year is not that we’ll finally get everything right.

Our hope is that God keeps shaping us—patiently, gently—one lesson at a time.
