1. Job description of the Interim Pastor

1. The D.I.C. Intern Minister (IM) is, first and foremost, an employee (직원) of Daeheung Baptist Church. In this capacity, the IM reports to both the D.I.C. Committee and the ministry management of Daeheung Baptist Church.

2. The IM serves in a supportive role to both the pastor and the D.I.C. Committee.

3. The IM functions as the administrative and ministry liaison between D.I.C. and Daeheung Baptist Church. This includes:

• Maintaining the membership and participant register of D.I.C. and submitting regular reports to Daeheung Baptist Church.

• Submitting regular reports on D.I.C. plans, events, and activities to Daeheung Baptist Church.

4. The IM will assume preaching and other pastoral responsibilities in the absence of the D.I.C. pastor, for any reason.

5. The IM will assist the pastor with pastoral responsibilities, including:

• Follow-up and visitation of D.I.C. members when needed.

• Counseling of D.I.C. members, when needed.

• Providing ongoing pastoral care to D.I.C. members.

6. The IM is expected to attend all D.I.C. Committee meetings and report accordingly to the management of Daeheung Baptist Church.

7. The IM will undertake additional duties as required for the effective advancement of the D.I.C. ministry, such as:

• Taking care of and overseeing the Sunday bulletin – preferably on Saturday.

• Overseeing and managing the media ministry.

• Overseeing the opening and closing of the facility on Sundays.

2. Membership registration

• SeulGi will create a Drive document to record the membership list. The Drive document will be shared with all LSG members, who will, in turn, record their details. 

• The membership list should be submitted to the main church by the middle of March.

3. LSG Restructuring: The restructuring will take effect on the first Sunday of March. 

D.I.C. members will be asked to choose whether to join the Bible study groups or the koinonia groups. A Drive document will also be created to record this. 

4. The Lunar New Year event:  Traditional food will be prepared, and members will be invited to bring traditional New Year’s food from their countries.

5. Dedication Sunday: March 8. Leaders will be introduced to the congregation.

6. Invitation Sunday: March 22. We will label it as D.I.C.’s Coke and Pizza Sunday. Members will be challenged to invite friends and family to the event. Food will be provided. 

7. Spiritual Life Coaching: Sunday, September 27. The talk will be titled: Existential Value.

8. New Pastor’s Search: Jina will head the recruitment process. The process will start in March and last for two months. Candidates will be asked to preach on the last Sunday of June and the first Sunday of July.
